Alright yall! This week was ABSOLUTELY FIRE

We have had an amazing week! There is a ton of work out here in Cody. There hasn't been much done in the past so we are kinda reaping the harvest out here. Especially with the temple announced, people are more curious then ever :)

We've had a couple of great lessons and visits! We had a couple of miracles as well this week. We went to bring some cookies to an older lady who used to be taught, and we ended up knocking on the wrong door but a very nice lady opened the door with her 3  boys and we had an awesome visit! Finna try teaching em this week!

Did a little bit of service as well, raked some leaves, helped a couple people move, helped out at a covid drive (ended up talking to a guy named Eagle, he's Markipliers cousin turns out) doing some street contacting, Facebook work, a little bit of everything. Our "line" is in the "water" pretty much every hour of the day which is sonice

Had some great dinners as well. Had a dinner out on a dairy, the members made us swat 10 flies EACH before we could sit down and eat. Kinda a fair trade if ya ask me. Pulled up to a dinner and the member  (an old farmer for your information) was up on his forklift trying to fix some shingles on the roof... had Halloween this week (that was a thing I guess lol) had to do a couple baptismal interviews in Powell, just the usual!

I was SUPER sad to leave Missoula. I loved the people there. It was so much fun. But onto greener pastures I guess! It was a long day of driving out here to Cody, but Cody is pretty gosh dang nice

I'm training a new son, his name is Elder Hovi, he is from Herriman Utah, and he is a stud. Very humble and just wants to work. We be grinding out here!

Cody is interesting. It is ~ 10,000 people, and has 4 wards. We cover 2! The ward members here have been nothing but awesome! But there really was NOTHING when we got here when it comes to missionary work. Its struggled for a while, that's why we're here lol. The members have really taken a liking to us because we just want to work. We had a friend come to a baptism which was sick! And we've got a couple of lessons lined up. We are going to WORK. No questions asked 

That's kinda it! Just trying to party it up and enjoy this last little bit. We had stake Conference, it was amazing! I got to see some old Burlington friends which was awesome. Super uplifting, we getting a temple. Just good times all around!

What a Series Finale!!!

What is up ya'll! Back at it again with anotha weekly. THIS ONE IS CRAZY

So first things first. The work was again kinda slow this week not a lot of responses from some of the people we are working with. BUT! we have had a couple of really great lessons and things are set up nicely!

But that's where TRANSFERS come in...

I, Elder Barlow, will be leaving the promised land of Missoula Montana and be heading to CODY WYOMING!!!!

Kinda crazy right???

I am the one and done king. I will be doubling in (again) and training (again) and be the district leader (hey that's new)

That means the last FOUR areas I have had, I have only spent one transfer there. I hope I'm not doing something wrong haha

So yeah. That's the tea. I will be finishing out in Cody. Maybe I'll get to go to Yellowstone 

Just a fun week per usual. Some interesting things happened. A dude got arrested at church for breaking into cars. Went Bowling at Scheels. Ate some really good food! Just had a blast!

We had an interesting week out here in Missoula, and by interesting, I mean not very interesting...

We had some good lessons with some of our friends, and had some really good contacts. But still waiting to reap the harvest if ya know what I mean sometimes good things take a little bit of time. We're like right on the edge of some serious miracles here! We be so close!

We had some good service, pretty sure we helped someone move again, and we picked around 1000 apples on Saturday Boy was that a thrill haha

Somehow acquired another pet praying mantis, went up in da ole mountains with the district, went to a rich member dinner party Got brake checked and flipped off on the sabbath just the usual stuff missionaries do!

But yeah, that's kinda it, sorry I'm so lame!!! I'll pick it up this week I promise!

What is up ma friends! This week has been fantastic

It was a pretty interesting one. As far as the work goes, it has been great! We helped like 5 people move this week. Had a couple of lessons, and some of our friends watched Conference (more on that later) When we got here, there was nothing in these 2 wards... now we have 4-5 friends who are progressing quite nicely

We had a lil emergency on Friday it was a regular ole day, until we got a call from the Zls about the missionaries in Thompson Falls, they apparently nailed a deer and their car was essentially totalled, so we had to drop everything and swap cars. So we had to postpone a lesson and a dinner But we got to leave the zone, see some pretty mountains, and drive a wrecked Tacoma around Missoula haha

And then Conference...

Conference was awesome! We got to watch it with some amazing members. Ate some cinnamon rolls, played with some puppies, bought a hamster (our ward mission leader REALLY wanted to buy a hamster, so we went with him) and listened to some amazing speeches! Definitly give them all a read when they come out!

That's pretty much the week! Missoula right now is BEAUTIFUL!!! Red and yellow everywhere! Contrasted with super green pine trees, and snow capped mountains. I'm speechless every morning. You should definitely be jealous!

 Alright yall, we got an interesting one right here...

Jk, it was kind of a mundane week. We had some lessons and some service, but nothing supeerrrrrrr crazy

We did have a really interesting dinner the other day, it was with a part member family. The dad was from Egypt and asked us a lot of interesting questions haha. He was straight out of the Godfather, gold jewelry, catholic, thick accent, and old. He treated us like business men and was actually really nice, but we were careful not to say the wrong thing haha

I love meals with members so much. There are just some really down to earth people here that are a blast to be around. Hard to feel like work when it's a good time. We should be teaching 2 new people here soon as well that are ready to really progress Just gotta line up some schedules!

But yeah, kinda a lit week. Made some more ads, sanded an entire deck, helped people move, general conference is here, and fun times with the district! Just a bunch of blessings!!!
