Christ Is Our Pilot Car

Traveling on a windy canyon road on our way through Big Hole Montana, some buddies and I were stopped by a work truck halfway down the pass. With only being at the mere start of our drive home, we were anxiously awaiting the ability to drive forward. We waited for a few minutes, until a pilot car came into our view. Soon enough, we were following the pilot car through construction zones and windy roads. Allowing us to continue on our journey.
We see this in our own travels...
Through our construction of character and windy worldly roads, it is easy to get off course. We need a pilot car out in front. Someone to show us the way during the treacherous turns of life.
That pilot car is Christ. He is the Master. He can lead us through hard times in life if we just let Him. He is clearly out in front. Moving at our pace, never leaving us. I know He has helped me countless times in life. He is my Brother. There is nothing I can't overcome with His help and love.
The same is true for all of you 🙂
Follow his example and path, it is the way to safety and peace
"Behold my Spirit is upon you, wherefore all thy words will I justify; and the mountains shall flee before you, and the rivers shall turn from their course; and thou shalt abide in me, and I in you; therefore walk with me." - Moses 6:34

Thrivin' in Three Forks

What is up gamers! This week has been outstanding!

It was definitly interesting whitewashing an area, training, and keeping up with all of the missions social media efforts haha. I kinda lost my mind there for a sec. But we got it all figured out! We back to having a Tacoma! And the ward here is THE BEST. They are all so nice and just outgoing. We had the ward barbeque our first night which was super helpful. Just great times!

I was sad to leave Billings and all the great friends I met out there, but I will see them all again 🙏 also weird serving in like my 3rd area for just 1 transfer but, I guess you get used to it after a while.

Three Forks is great! It is so green because of the rivers here. There is smoke everywhere because of the fires around the state/country. We have like 10+ towns we cover in this one ward. Its pretty nice. We are about to pop off here and I'm stoked

That's pretty much it, we out here today hiking in Bozeman, I'll make sure to send some pics next week!

Transfers👀

That's right, its transfer week already... Time flies when ya having fun I guess!

This week has been pretty good, it's been kinda a blur not going to lie. It was departures this week so it was sad to say goodbye to a lot of friends. That took up a lot of our week. Just trying to get our ducks in a row when it comes to social media. Doing what we can to improve. Did some service at the Temple, met up with some people, good times all around!

We did get TRANSFER NEWS! I will be heading to Three Forks Montana on Thursday. It was nice to get transfer news before Pday! I will be doubling in and training, and still doing advertising. Three Forks is about 30-40 minutes west of Bozeman. I'm really excited! It should be a lot of fun and I'm excited to start grinding a new area!

That's pretty much it, nothing too crazy or exciting. Sorry its lowkey a boring week🤷‍♂️ Still just having a grand ole time!

*Just some Pday shenanigans*

Black Bear Spotted🐻

Uh yeah, we saw a bear this week😎

This past week has been flipping fantastic! Hammocking with the district, road trip to zone conferences, went to the temple, finding teaching baptizing, just good things from Big Sky Country!

President Walls 1st zone conferences went great, they are really awesome people who love the Lord. We got to give a little Facebook instruction mission wide which was really effective and has the mission hyped!

We got to see Seeley Lake which was BEAUTIFUL. Ate at some really great places. Saw a black bear between Big Timber and Livingston which was dope. Good times all around

Still making a ton of ads and content! Honestly I love it so much, it is so cool seeing the success that comes from Facebook. Also still managed to work in our area for the 2 days we had!

Just good times all around, I love life so much here! Nothing is better than serving in Montana, IT IS SO GREAT!

MONTANA BILLINGS MISSION

"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." - Ether 12:27

The MBM Renaissance

What is up peeps!

The start of our week was saying goodbye to Elder Parkinson and President Larson🥺 it was super sad to see them go so quickly. Honestly it is kind of a blur to as what we really did. We just spent a good amount of time with the both of them to send them off. They left a huge impact on the mission and me and I miss them a ton already!

We did get to welcome President Wall into the mission and he is awesome! Really down to earth and optimistic! He is a big salesman so talking advertising has been fun. The next 6 months will be interesting that is for sure!

Other than that, we have had some great lessons and meetings. Trying to really figure out Instagram as missionaries. Getting some ads done, just the usual. Someone is on date now in Bozeman through an ad I made so I'm really hyped about that!🙌

Just fun times per usual, I'll be road tripping again for zone conferences this week so that will be so fun! We stay excited here in the MBM!

18 MONTHS!

What a wild ride it has been up to this point. I have absolutely cherished my time here in Montana and Wyoming! The purpose and direction I have grown to love has consumed me in who I am and what I value. Every person I have had the privilege of meeting has deeply effected me. I am beyond grateful for all of the friends I have made, and yet will make. You all direct me to the Master through your character and love. I hope to one day reciprocate that same love back💛
This is time I will never get back. I wish I had more. My mission president said something last week that really resonated with me, and in which his words are my words: "The greatest purpose I've been involved in is quickly slipping away..."
But I'm excited for what the last 6 months will bring!
I'm so grateful for this Gospel and the identity and comfort it gives. It has been the biggest blessing seated in the "spiritual splash zone" watching the gospel in action in a very personal and close sense. I know that the hand of the Lord is in all things, that has been the most prevalent truth in my mission. Knowing that, life is simple😁
"One’s life, therefore, is brevity compared to eternity—like being dropped off by a parent for a day at school. But what a day!" - Neal A Maxwell
